Anthony originally played the role of "Fixer" in scenes that were then deleted from Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. Anthony is more famous, however, for playing the part of the sandtrooper, dazed by Obi-Wan Kenobi at the Mos Eisley roadblock, who said "These aren't the droids we're looking for." In 2012, RS Prop Masters began recreating the original Sandtrooper costume that Anthony wore in that scene. The completed costume was debuted by Anthony at Star Wars Celebration Europe II in Essen, Germany in July 2013, the first time he had kitted up as a Sandtrooper since filming the Jedi Mind Trick scene back in 1976.

Anthony is also the Honorary Leader of Britannia Patrol, the Sandtrooper detachment of the UK Garrison.
